A hidden gem a few miles outside of Bastrop! Italian cuisine with a bit of a Texas twist. Their lasagna is one of my favorites as well as the Bucatini Carbonara and Butternut Squash Risotto. Soooo good! Their pizzas' are as good as any in town; the 'Butcher' being our go-to. Friday & Saturday night is prime rib nights (pictured)...a very liberal cut cooked perfectly! The Texas gnocchi (a fried potato thingy) is pretty awesome! Service is top-notch also; you won't be ignored. Wish they'd bring back their burger though. Maybe a marinara burger with mozzarella or provolone...an Italy meets Texas kinda thing. Leo's has become a routine once a week dinner night out for us. So we'll be back...next week!

Leo’s did not disappoint. I am so happy to see this place turn it around. As with a lot of others, I came here after watching Kitchen Nightmares. Walking in I was created by Neil. He is amazing. I sat down and read over the menu, which you can read below. The price for the items was great as well! I was able to order then Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with a Caesar salad. Neil was always prompt and attentive while waiting the small amount of time I had to wait. When I got my salad it was presented beautifully and was a great Caesar salad. Before I could even finish my salad Neil delivered my main course. The Fettuccine Alfredo was creamy and delicious. The chicken they added was seasoned, cooked great, and was quite moist! Once I finished my main course, I then asked Neil to recommend a dessert and he recommended the Italian Cream Cake. Let me tell you, I know cake, and this cake was not only moist and airy, but the icing was so fluffy and not too sweet. Plus, the nuts added a much welcome crunchy texture to the overall smoothness of the cake. As I paid and left everyone was so warm and friendly as if they have known me forever. Leo’s is now going to be a staple for me when I’m in the mood for Italian food. I strongly suggest trying out Leo’s. Also, if you watched the show, you should recognize Bump’s photo wall; I just want to say, that Bump was an extremely talented photographer and I recommend just walking over and take a gander at the work Bump did to add some extra beauty to the world. Thank you to whole staff at Leo’s for making me feel welcomed and fed a delicious meal.

Excellent food, taste, atmosphere and quality, I was never dining here before they renew happened, so I can't tell how food was before chef Gordon Ramsay renew the menu, but I can tell I love Italian food. Also, the new restaurant look, I love it, bar looks amazing and the new colors and layout are giving a great positive energy and fresh look.

We drove all the way from New Braunfels. I recently visited (3/15/2025) this restaurant featured on Kitchen Nightmares, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken parm, which was fantastic, while my partner enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were delicious, showcasing great food quality. We also tried a few appetizers that were equally tasty. To top off our meal, I had the frozen sangria, which was refreshing, and we finished with the tiramisu—an absolute must-try! Overall, a wonderful dining experience!. Our server and owner provided top notch customer service, and congrats on your beautiful restaurant!

We finally tried Leo's and we really enjoyed it! The arancini was oh em gee good! We will definitely be ordering that again next time. Also had the lasagna which was good as well - nice portion. My husband had the "our favorite" pizza which was fully loaded and delicious leftovers the next day. He is looking forward to having the prime rib the next time we visit and I'm looking forward to another pasta dish. I really enjoyed the red sauce here and we felt all the ingredients were fresh. The owners are a sweet family who makes you feel welcomed and the service was great.

My husband and I, like another reviewer, saw Leo's on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares, and wanted to come check it out for ourselves. We made the trip from our small town south of San Antonio. It's a quaint little place. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and I ordered the chicken carbonara. Both dishes were very tasty, and Crystal our server was very kind. The overall visit was worth the travel. Thanks Leo's!

Just had lunch (and went back a few days later for dinner!) at the new Leo’s Italian Grill in Cedar Creek, and I absolutely love the changes to the decor, and the food menu. I tried five different things from the menu, and my friend tried a couple different things. Loved the Tomato Salad, Fried Polenta Sticks, Fingerling Potatoes, Eggplant Parmesan! I absolutely adore the cozy Italian vibe atmosphere that has been created with the changes they did. It’s not easy making these kind of updates and changes, because there’s always positive and negative feedback, and it takes a lot of courage to do it, but I’m so proud of Leo and Michelle for continuing to move forward in their business, and to always strive to make it better and better for their customers. Great job! Your #1 Fan p.s. I was so excited, I forgot to take pictures of the food!
